sunJune is one of the best months to visit London, with so many major events taking place. As you can see from our top 10 below, Wimbledon, Royal Ascot, plus the start of the open air concert season are some of the great events aking place for you to come and enjoy, and don’t forget to try our fresh English strawberries and cream. There is nothing quite like it. Welcome to the English summer, let’s just hope we see some sunshine.

ascotThe holiday season has started and London will start to fill with tourists from all over the world. This year in London is expected to be very busy after the London Olympics last year, so if you are coming this summer make sure you start booking your hotels now. Also transport will also be busy so if you need a transfer from the airport when you arrive don’t delay and make arrangements. This month sees the big football final at Wembley, “The FA cup” always a spectacle and always sold out. See below for all the other top events for May.

For sports fans there are 2 soccer semi-finals taking place at the famous Wembley stadium, (at the time of writing this the teams had not been finalised yet), Also this month is the Queen’s birthday and also St Georges day. Hopefully the snow in the UK will have gone and things will start to warm up. There are lots of events to see and do this month. To help you find things that do not rely on our unpredictable weather I have tried to include a lot of indoor events so rain, shine or snow there will be something to keep you entertained throughout the month.

london-aboveWinter has certainly taken its grip on the country with snow all over the UK, however in central London, all though it is very cold most of the snow is cleared so getting around is no problem and there are still lots events both indoors and outdoors to enjoy. This month also sees the first Soccer final for 2013 at Wembley. Listed below are our top ten, as usual we have tried to select events to suite every one. Warner Bros Studio Tour: The making of Harry Potter are to Host “Wand Week” from 16th-24th February

The Harry Potter tour at Warner Bros Studios at Leavesden are inviting visitors to a special delve into the world of wand making, spell casting and wizarding duels, just like in the films. There will be Special effects and choreography professionals from the Harry Potter movies on hand to show the wand moves seen in the movies.

London Transfers January 2013The start of a 2013, and London begins the year with plenty of top events to keep you entertained. Even though London will not be very warm in January, there are still plenty of outdoor activities for you to enjoy. First thing to mention is the New Year’s day parade, always a great spectacle and great for the whole family. For the rest of the month there are Exibition’s, great sporting events, and lots of Music and theatre to experience. The real London Harry Potter experience

If you fancy a  special day out then why not try the  “The Making of Harry Potter” Warner Bros. Studio Tour at Leavesden . Which is approximatly 25 miles from the centre of London.

Leavesden Studios is where a lot of the filming was done on all the movies and so a lot of the props and sets are there.
