Hopefully summer will have now arrived and we can say goodbye to the wet and cold winter months. Lots going on this month, with new theatre productions, look out for the open air theatre at Regents Park, lots of live music, including The Rolling Stones, The Chelsea Flower Show is also on this month and lots more. No 1. 4th May to 28th July 2018 “Red” at Wyndham’s Theatre.

Award-winning stage and screen actor Alfred Molina reprises his critically acclaimed performance as the American abstract expressionist painter Mark Rothko. He is joined by rising star Alfred Enoch of US television drama series How to Get Away With Murder as his assistant Ken. Under the watchful gaze of his young assistant, and the threatening presence of a new generation of artists, Mark Rothko takes on his greatest challenge yet: to create a definitive work for an extraordinary setting. No 2.   5th to 6th May 2018 “Arcadia 10th Anniversary Festival at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Dance along to music from top DJs against a backdrop of giant robotic spiders, pyrotechnics, fireballs and more. Returning home from its recent world tour, Arcadia hosts a two-day show featuring the likes of electronic artists Leftfield, Sven Väth, Eats Everything, Rudimental, Noisia and Groove Armada. Plus, experience sets by DJs from RAM Records, and hear many more fantastic musicians from the worlds of drum and bass, house, techno and dance.

No.4. 10th May 2018 “Tears for Fears with Special guest Alison Moyet”at the O2 Arena.

No.7. 22nd to 25th May 2018 “The Rolling Stones” at London Stadium.

The legendary rockers, fronted by Mick Jagger, perform their biggest hits from across the decades including Satisfaction, Paint It Black and Brown Sugar, as well as some surprises thrown in for good mixture. Hey there not getting any younger so see them while you can.
