Are Your Charges Based On Per Person Or Per Group?

All of the prices shown on our website are per vehicle, not per person. You may carry as many passengers as the vehicle legally seats and as much luggage as is legally safe to drive with at no extra charge.

Please contact us when you know the total number of passengers and amount of luggage you will be bringing and we can advise you on the most suitable vehicle for your journey and the exact cost.

How will we locate our driver after the flight arrives?

Your driver will meet you just beyond the customs hall exit inside the airport terminal. The driver will have a sign bearing your name so you can identify your car easily. The airport terminal can be very crowded; if you cannot locate your driver please contact us immediately on 07976 374498 so we can call the driver and arrange an easy meeting point for you in the terminal.

What will happen if our flight gets delayed?

We operate 24 hours and monitor all incoming flights. It makes no difference how delayed your flight is, or how early it lands, there will be a driver waiting for you at no extra cost.

What is your company policy on a ‘NO SHOW’ at the airport?

If the driver is kept waiting in excess of 90 minutes after the flight has landed and the client has failed to contact our Head Office, the driver will assume the booking is a ‘No Show’ and proceed immediately to the next booking.

Please note that in the rare event of a ‘No Show’, full payment for the booking is still payable to Harmony Cars by the person who placed the order, as no cancellation of the hire was received.

What If I Have To Cancel My Booking After I Have Placed It?

There is no charge for written hire cancellations that are received at least SEVEN DAYS before the booking is due to take place. Cancellations received more than TWO DAYS before the day of the hire and within less than 7 DAYS notice are chargeable at 50% of the total charge. Cancellations received in less than TWO DAYS before the day of the hire are still chargeable at full price ie. no refund is possible.

Once I am in the car, what is the policy on traffic delays?

Unlike London black cabs, we do not charge for traffic delays on the way to your destination.

What happens if I want to alter my destination?

Itinerary changes must be made before the day of the hire. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate last-minute alterations on the day, as our schedule is set in advance to fit around our other client bookings.

Please note that additional destinations/stops are chargeable at a variable rate according to location, even if they are en route to your final destination.

Who is responsible for my luggage?

Harmony Cars can accept no liability in the event of loss, theft or damage of any luggage clients bring with them. Clients are responsible for their own possessions and should be advised that when placing luggage into our vehicles, they do so at their own risk, as stipulated by all UK insurers.

How long will the driver wait for us to clear customs?

The driver will normally wait 80 minutes for you before he makes any enquiries. He will check with the information desk as well as Head Office. After this, he will wait another 10 minutes for you before he leaves the terminal. We strongly recommend that you call Head Office if you believe it may take longer than one hour to collect your baggage and leave customs, so we can tell the driver to wait for you.

What methods of payment are acceptable?

We accept cash in Pounds Sterling, US Dollars, Pounds Sterling Travellers’ Cheques and all major credit cards which are subject to nominal charges.

How long does the journey take from the airport to London City?

It takes 35-60 minutes from Heathrow and 55-75 minutes from Gatwick to the city of London, depending on the time of the day and traffic conditions- Please note, this is merely a general estimation for guidance. Harmony Cars cannot accept liability for any delays occurring due to road and traffic conditions.

Can your office contact the driver while he is within the airport terminal or driving?

Yes, we can contact all drivers via telephone at all times.

Do we do other transfers apart from airport trips?

Yes. We offer shopping trips, sightseeing tours and hourly/daily hire at very competitive rates.
