What’s On In London This March?

cloverWith winter coming to an end, the excitement about the weather warming up can be rivalled by the exciting events taking place in London this March.

3rd March – England v Egypt

For sports fans, England’s soccer team will be playing a friendly with Egypt at Wembley, as part of their preparations for this summer’s World Cup in South Africa. With both teams expecting to field strong sides it will be an action-packed game. For tickets go online to Wembley box office.

4th-9th March – Eastern World Culture

In East London there will be various activities celebrating Eastern World Culture, including art displays and music shows. Check evening newspapers for further details.

12th -13th March – Move It Show

The Move It show is being held at London’s large exhibition hall, Olympia. If you like dance then this show is for you, with performances from different genres including ballet, ballroom, modern, burlesque and even Bollywood. Tickets start at £12.

14th March – St. Patricks Day Parade and Festival

Attended by 100,000 people last year, St Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the biggest events of the year in London. Starting at Piccadilly (12 :00), the procession will pass famous landmarks in Central London before reaching Trafalgar Square where those attending will be treated to live performances showcasing the best of Irish Music and Dance. The parade will eventually finish at Whitehall Palace. It is a great day out, with the whole family getting to experience all things Irish.

18th-21st March – Vitality Show
Held at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London, the Vitality show is all about health and well being. Highlights of the event include the healthy kitchen stand, the anti-aging stand and exercise classes. Tickets start from £17.50.
